      • Listen to and answer the child's questions honestly.
      • Never pressure the child to talk or avoid talking about the abuse.
      • Respect the child’s privacy. Never discuss the abuse in front of unnecessary people.
      • Never confront the offender.
      • Report the abuse immediately.
